It’s been certainly an interesting 2018 so far. Even the weather’s been struggling to figure out where it stands. Here in New Jersey, we’ve had about four really huge snow storms and even though it’s well into spring (hello, spring was March 21), mother nature is still gifting us with her leftover snow.

Technically, the snow should have zero connection to my blog’s content but just like the schools around New Jersey and New York, unfortunately, Fandom University was forced to close its doors as well. I admit, when I created the concept, I neglected to treat it with due process. My apologies to any prospective students who were eagerly waiting to learn.

So after some careful considerations and development, I’m really excited to announce that Fandom University is now open for enrollment!!

You’ll learn everything you need to know about fully embracing the fangirl lifestyle. You’ll learn things from how to finance your fangirl adventures to how to make friends with fellow fangirls. The best part, there’s no shame or judgment in dropping out or joining in at a later stage of your life. The only thing that I ask of you is to enroll.

Created with the intention of providing a
roadmap for anyone who wants to learn more about the ‘fangirl lifestyle’, Fandom University is your one-stop shop, jam-packed with content and stories to leave you feeling smarter and more inspired.

I know how difficult it is to feel like you’re riding against the wave. I wish my journey to becoming a fangirl was as smooth sailing as some of my friends. Unfortunately, or rather, fortunately, it wasn’t. But as I fought through my demons and insecurities, I slowly realized that being a fangirl wasn’t just a label. No, it’s a complete lifestyle. Your thoughts and actions, values and beliefs get shaped by your fandoms and if you invest in the right fandoms (FOR YOU), the results can be incredible. I’ve personally experienced this and therefore want to help others experience this too. It’s truly magical.fandom university quote

The best part about Fandom University is that you choose what pace you want to go at and there’s no homework or exams at this school. If you read my previous Fandom University post, you’ll discover that I initially wanted to dedicate every couple of months to a study track.

I quickly found this method to be too structured and limiting. Plus, anyone who enrolled later in the year would lose out on vital information given out earlier in the year. I don’t want Fandom University to be your standard schooling with deadlines and rigid schedules. Living a fangirl lifestyle is very personal, fluid, and unique to each person.

That’s why what you learn at Fandom University will become cyclical. Each month, we will focus on a specific fandom-related topic and where we take the topics is up to you.

So even though we may have already talked about a topic, there’s always something new to learn. That’s why I’m here. To help you learn something new and useful to improve your fangirl lifestyle.

But at the crux of our conversation will be these five core aspects (study tracks) of building your perfect fangirl lifestyle. To learn more about each study track, visit this blog post.

Since I quickly found that trying to incorporate Fandom University into my blog limited my content creation significantly, I’ve decided to turn Fandom University into a subscriber-only service. Completely free. All you have to do is just sign up below and you’ll instantly become a student at Fandom University. How cool is that? It’s that easy.

You’ll find a welcome packet waiting for you in your inbox and you’re ready to start learning.

For those of you who wish to personalize your education a little bit more, The Lexicon, found in the menu bar above, is a fantastic source. Although it won’t have anything from my emails, it’s my comprehensive guide to navigating the blog. If you’re unsure of where to go for certain topics or what each menu category mean, visit The Lexicon. The Lexicon fandom university

Hey, I get it. Sometimes what you want and what you can have doesn’t always match up. Life is finicky and unpredictable that way. If now’s not the right time, no worries.

The best part about Fandom University is that it's FREE!! Click To Tweet

So even if you can’t invest in learning the material, feel free to simply sign up to get on the list. You’ll receive your welcome package and you can just store my emails in a Fandom University folder for later. There’s no pressure to participate.

Like I said earlier, Fandom University is a go-at-your-own-pace type school. But, I do want to point out that if you decide to sign up later rather than now, you’ll miss out on emails that got sent out earlier. And even though Fandom University follows the blog, sometimes we’ll deviate and get a bit more personal and in-depth into certain topics.

Worksheets and printables will ONLY be found through Fandom University.

If you don’t sign up now, you’ll miss out on them. You can always bookmark my emails for later, but at least you will have access to the worksheets and subscription-only information. So stop thinking about it and just take the plunge.

If you're hesitating, that's all the more reason to go for it. Because fear only comes out when you're about to do something incredible. Click To Tweet

Don’t question my love for all things Supernatural and Simple Plan!! I’m proud to be a fangirl. I hope to inspire discovery and passion through these fandoms and to showcase the magical power that comes with being a fangirl.
